JOB TITLE : OUTSTATION ACCOUNTANT DOUALA
REPORTS TO:
FUNCTIONAL: REGIONAL FINANCE MANAGER/ADM: SALES MANAGER CAMEROON
ROLE PURPOSE STATEMENT: PREPARE AND MAINTAIN ACCURATE ACCOUNTING RECORDS, FINANCIAL REPORTS AND FOR MANAGEMENT DECISION MAKING AND FINANCIAL REPORTING
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPOSABILITIES
- Prepare periodic financial reports for management decision making and reporting.
- Prepare VAT, Corporation Tax & withholding Tax returns to ensure compliance with statutory obligations.
- Maintain and update fixed assets register to ensure accurate records and safe custody of company’s’ fixed assets.
- Review general ledger accounts reconciliation and payment vouchers to ensure accuracy of accounting records and timely payment of bona fide claims.
- Monitor and update banking records and cash balances to ensure funds availability to meet obligations.
- Prepare Cargo Statistics to facilitate management decision-making.
- Prepare company budget to facilitate financial planning and control.
- Prepare and circulate Cost Centre Reports to facilitate variance explanation and management information.
- Control and value inventory to ensure accountability, availability and financial reporting.
- Provide costing information to facilitate business decisions.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE
- Qualified accountant CPA
- Holder of a Bachelor’s degree (Accounting)
- Proficient in using financial accounting system
- Proficient in MS office applications
- Over 3 years’ experience in the airline industry
- Good Communication skills
