As independent public institution, its primary misision is to protect investors and markets actors in general to promote a fair well organized and efficient markets as well as good governance and ethical values among participants.

This institution is seeking its SECRETARY GENERAL

The SECRETARY GENERAL works under the Institution's Leadership, the governing and decision making body and its chair's authority, to fulfill the institution's mission and accomplish its strategic and operational goals. As the executive hand of the institution, her(his) main responsibilities include day to day manangement and coordination of activities, services and operations of the institution within a model that requires and encourages collaboration with partners, actors and participants accross the market.

The SECRETARY GENERAL is responsible for running day to day activities, issues and files related to the institution's missions including analysis and implementation of regulatory decisions designed to insure a efficient and orderly functioning of the Institution and the capital market as a whole. S(h)e prepares the budget as well as all reports and records of the Institution's governing body meetings.

The incumbent will be a Cameroonian citizen male or female, with a formal (post) graduate education and training equivalent to five years after High school leaving Certificate(Baccalaureat) in the academic fields of economics, finance, accounting, law or management.S(h)e will have a minimum of ten years uninterrupted professional experience in managerial or operational positions within a firm of institution, public or private.
