Job Title: Packaging Operator, Guinness Cameroon

Reporting to: Packaging Team Lead, Guinness Cameroon

Contract: Permanent

PURPOSE

To operate his machine on agreed performance measures of customer service, quality conformance, cost and safety

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Minimum: Scientific or technical GCE Advanced Level in Mechanical- Electro technical, electricity or equivalent qualification, AND a minimum of 2 years of experience in Packaging Operations or other relevant fields.

Candidate with lower qualifications with 5 years or more of relevant and successful experience in packaging operations will also be considered.

• Self-disciplined, logical and analytical
• Ability to understand the operation principles of a machine
• Able to analyze situations and make suggestions
• Exhibit reporting capacity
• Computer literate

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Ensure his machine runs at its rated capacity and supplies/is supplied steadily.
• Is held accountable for ensuring safety and cleanliness of his working environment
• Proactively identify, investigate and carry out basic maintenance and/or report machine performance issues as appropriate
• Carryout quick fixes
• Should carry out and record performance checks for quality, delivery, cost and safety on his machine during his shift
• Should handover properly to help improve the performance of the team that comes after him
