RELEASE ON THE RECRUITMENT OF ACADEMIC STAFF FOR UNIVERSITY OF BUEA' HIGHER TECHNICAL TEACHER'S TRAINING COLLEGE, KUMBA
The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Buea wishes to invite applications for the recruitment of 30 academic staff(Assistant Lecturers) into the 14 Departments of the newly created Higher Technical Teachers'Training College, Kumba.
Ther Departments are:
- Department of Civil Engineering and Forestry Techniques
- Department of Topography and Real Estate Management
- Department of Computer Science
- Department of Law
- Department of Science of Education
- Department of Social Economy and Family Management
- Department of Renewable Energy
- Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management
- Department of Electrical and Power Engineering
- Department of Guidance and Counseling
- Department of Mechanical Engineering
- Department of Management Sciences
- Department of Administrative Techniques
- Department of Agronomy
Priority will be given to candidates who hold a Ph.D degreee or its equivalent. Candidates who are holders of a Master's degree or equivalent may also apply.
Application Files should contain the following items:
- A signed and dated letter of application
- A signed and dated curriculum vitae
- A certified true copy of candidate's birth certificate
- Certified true copy of academic certificates
- A 2-3 page abstract of the Ph.D thesis for candidates holding a Ph.D degree or its equivalent
- A brief research interest of not more than 2 pages or statement of innovations that would enhance performance and integration with research group within the prospective Departement.
- Copies of publications appearing in peer reviewed journals
- Evidence of registration in a Ph.D programme for holders of the Master's degree
