The EJF's Project Phase II(Appui à l'Education des Jeunes Filles dans l'arrondissement de Yaoundé II) is the logical continuation of Phase I, that has been proposed to move to a larger scale through the Briqueterie and around the district of Yaoundé II. It is a joint paternship between AFHADEV and Plan Cameroon to contribute to improving the access and quality of primary education for children in Cameroon.

Within this framework we are looking for potential Cameroonian candidates for a one year duration renewable contract to fulfill the positions below.

Title: One(01) Project Coordinator, for "Education de la Jeune Fille Project"

Duty Station: Yaoundé(Biteng Program Unit)

Purpose of the Role: The Project Coordinator will ensure quality implementation of the project in Yaoundé II in conformity with Plan Cameroon's strategic orientations and administrative norms. He/she will also ensure quality liaison at all the levels, between beneficiaries, partners and Plan Cameroon.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Program Unit Manager, the Project Coordinator will among other tasks perform the following:

• Monitor the implementation of activities to ensure their compliance in the planning of the project, the objectives, the expected results and the strategies and procedures of the Plan office in cameroon;
• Coordinate the work of all the team of the project and facilitate contacts with partners;
• conduct, supervise the project team and ensure strengthening of their capacity when needed;
• conduct follow-up visits and supervision in each target school project, with partners and communities;
• Organize monthly meetings with the project's team, bimonthly and quarterly management meetings of the steering commitee with partners;
• Facilitate the assessment of the project according to the principles and procedures of Plan Cameroon;
• Ensure the inclusion of evaluations and recommendations results of the hierarchy and partners in the implementation of the project;
• Review financial reports of the project in compliance with the narrative and the budget for the provisional period;
• Facilitate the collection, consolidation, and archiving of data that relate to the project;
• Ensure the establishment of a library of pictures on the project;

Qualification and Experience

• Degree in social sciences, project management/program or equivalent;
• Have at least 03 years of continuous experience in the management of community projects.
