Job Title: CARM Specialist WACA

PURPOSE

• Implement Market’s process controls by embedding the Control Assurance and Risks Management (CARM) system across the business and to manage external CARM & GAR audits as required.
• Conduct internal audits on high risks areas; preparation for audit.
• Integration plans for Compliance & Ethics: Awareness, training and communication to bring Code to life. Progress reporting on C&E.
• Manages market Risk Management Committee, Business Continuity Planning, and project risk management, including footprint, mitigation plans. Advice new business ventures team on potential risk areas
• Advice new business ventures team on potential risk areas.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Qualifications

• University graduate or ACCA level 2.

Experience

• Strong Finance background, with good control awareness.
• Minimum of 3 years post qualification

Skills & Knowledge

• Good knowledge in corporate governance, control & risk assessment.
• Well-developed skills in systems utilisation (ideally Sun Systems, SAP) and Excel, particularly in data query and interpretation.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with operational financial analysis support activities.
• Self-motivated and well organised approach to work
• Attention to detail, accuracy and customer delivery standards.
• Budgetary & cost control management
• Able to take on ownership and responsibility for problem resolution
