*WWF Cameroon* is looking for a *Communications Officer* in order to ensure the development and implementation of the _Jengi/TRIDOM, REDD Ngoyla-Mintom& TNS_ programmes to the highest standards, in line with the _WWF Cameroon Conservation Strategy_.

*Required Qualifications*
* University degree in Communications, Public Relations, Media Relations, or other related fields;
* Additional degree in environmental/conservation domain will be an asset;
* Proven track record, and at least 2 years of experience , in communications or PR;
* An understanding of, and vocational interest in environmental conservation, international development, not-for-profit sector and other related fields would be preferred;
* Understanding of the institutional and legal framework in Cameroon, as it relates to PR, media and communications issues.
*Required Skills and Competencies*
* Excellent Communication skills in English and French, both oral and written; additional languages would be beneficial;
* A good understanding of the realities of PR and communications for promoting conservation issues;
* Good IT and multi-media skills;
* Excellent interpersonal skills, approachable, open and presentable;
* Excellent organisational, analytical and research skills;
* Innovative, creative and willing to learn;
* Passionate about biodiversity conservation;
* Adhere to WWF’s values: Knowledgeable, Optimistic, Determined and Engaging.
