Territory Manager, Central Africa

Location: Cameroun, Douala

Salary per annum: 24,000-36,000 euros

Reports: Area Sales Manager, West and Central Africa

Main Responsabilities

  • Central Africa including Cameroon, Central Africa Republic, Gabon, DRC, Congo, Chad, Sudan, South Sudan, Eritrea.
  • Proactively develop and implement marketing plans, sales strategies and promotional plans by channel, market, distributor and product group
  • Drive sales in order to exceed business objectives and targets with a strong focus on international funding channels
  • Develop and maintain high level contacts with Non-Governmental organizations NGO, International Aid Agencies, government, MOH disease and control programs and appropriate lobby groups to influence purchasing policy and ensure accurate market intelligence and effective promotion of the brand and product
  • Assist in the development of reliable budgets and ongoing forecasts for West central Africa. Follow up on payment and collection of receivables.
  • Provides direct coaching for distributor sales staff.
  • Support teamwork and the sharing of ideas and information between departments
  • Promote products; including provision of product Sales and Marketing training for customers and distributors, arranging/attending seminars/congresses as required.
  • Key Opinion Leader indetification and development and mentorship programs within countries.
  • To coordinate organization of company events with in territory

Qualification

  • Medicine, Biomedical Scientist, Pharmacy or Equivalent with experience in IVD/Medical Device Market in French Central Africa
  • English and French Central Africa
  • 3-5 years' experience in sales and marketing of IVDs/Medical Device in Central Africa
