VACANCY: BASE/OPERATIONS MANAGER - WEATHERFORD

Weatherford Services & Rentals Ltd, a leading service provider in the oil & gas industry, is urgently requiring the services of  an experienced Base/Operations Manager, based in Douala, Cameroon with a joint responsibility for Equatorial Guinea.

The Key responsibilities

• Operational management of all product lines with a strong focus on safety, service delivery and financial integrity
• Seeking new business opportunities & keeping market informed about company products & services
• Presentation of existing technology & reports to clients
• Review market surveys & potential requirements to identify the location of equipment
• Define specific engineering product development priorities
• Manage the introduction of new products and services
• Day to day supervision of the base

Key requirements

• A tertiary qualification in Engineering or related field
• Experience of budget preparation and managing people and processes
• General management or operations experience of a minimum of 5 years in the oil or related industry
• Fluent in English and proficient in French

Additional competencies would be an advantageous: Product line experience in the oil service industry
