Job Overview
As a Senior Engineer at iA, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing our solar water pumping systems, collaborating with local contractors, and providing technical support post-project completion. Your responsibilities will include project site identification, community engagement, system design, and construction supervision. You'll also manage relationships with various stakeholders, ensuring the successful implementation of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all field operations related to solar-powered water projects, including project search, construction, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with local contractors for system design and civil construction works.
• Supervise and support engineers in our team, ensuring project design, construction inspections, and quality control.
• Conduct technical trainings and sensitization programs for water system beneficiaries.
• Manage relationships with municipal officers, local leaders, and international stakeholders.
• Respond to communications promptly and maintain regular contact with iA engineers globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or professional diploma in Water-, Civil-, Electrical Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in implementing rural water systems.
• Proficiency in Epanet is mandatory.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in email and Microsoft Office software.
• Driver’s license and flexibility in working hours.
• Proficiency in English and local languages.
