Position: Bilingual Tax Assistant Intern

Internship Description:

We are delighted to offer an exciting internship opportunity for a highly motivated and ambitious individual interested in pursuing a career in tax consultancy. As an intern, you will have the unique chance to work closely with our team, gaining invaluable hands-on experience and exposure in various aspects of tax consulting.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our experienced tax consultant in conducting research, analyzing tax laws and regulations, and preparing tax reports for clients.
• Assist in the preparation and review of tax returns, ensuring accurate data entry and compliance with applicable tax laws.
• Engage in meetings, providing support in discussing tax-related matters and addressing their concerns.
• Utilize Sage Saari, an accounting software, to assist with data entry and analysis.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive client information and adhere to professional ethical standards.
• Show a high capacity for learning new concepts and regulations in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate effectively with other team members to deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual proficiency in English and French is essential for effective communication with clients and team members.
• Strong knowledge of Sage Saari software with the ability to navigate and utilize its features effectively.
• Basic understanding of tax principles, regulations, and compliance requirements is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a complex and deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate and efficient work.
• Strong work ethic, willingness to work hard, and commitment to meeting deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive client information.
