The Faculty of Information and Communication Technology of The ICT University offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems and Networking, ICT, ICT Applied in Public Health, ICT Applied to Education, and Cybersecurity. To meet its mission to provide competence-based technical education & training and carry out research, innovation, and consultancy in Information and Communication Technology for socio-economic development in Africa and other Developing Regions in the World, The ICT University recruits the best IT professionals in the programs listed above.

Responsibilities:

• Teaching courses in available the offered programs.
• Ability to engage modern pedagogy to teach students through field, classroom, and laboratory settings.
• Willingness, interest, or experience in cross-disciplinary collaborations.
• Ability to effectively interact and collaborate with colleagues to complete tasks and goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Applicants must be holders of a Ph.D. degree or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Wireless Sensor Networks, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Networking or related fields, with proven records of excellence in teaching and hands-on capabilities. Successful candidates will be required to deliver courses such as DevOps, Distributed Systems and Cloud Computing, Network Security, Programming for Handheld Devices, Ethical Hacking, Artificial Intelligence, Systems Analysis and Design, Modeling and Simulation, Geographical Information System, Programming in Python, Programming in Java, Computer Game Development, Internet of Things, Embedded Systems, Parallel Computer Architecture Clusters and Grid, Compiler Construction, Data Science, Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing, Wireless and Mobile Networks, Computer Forensics, Machine Learning, and IP Telephony and Intercom Systems.

Appointment Terms:

• These are a full-time positions with an anticipated start date of August 01, 2024
