Context and justification

ACMS (L’Association Camerounaise pour le Marketing Social) is recruiting One highly skilled and experienced Information and Communication Technology Coordinator (M/F).

The successful candidate shall provide managerial and Technical expertise to ICT coordination activities, Electricity and electronics in a multi project management with multi-donor Structure whose activities are developed in all ten (10) offices. 

ACMS is a member or population services international (PSI) network. PSI is an internationally renowned organization, which operates in the health Sector and whose programmers are oriented toward malaria, child survival, HIV and reproductive health.

Required qualifications and professional experience

• Be of Cameroonian nationality,
• Must hold a university degree equivalent to a Bac or GCE ‘A’ +4/5 (Engineer/Computer science/Electronics/information technology) or a Master degree any related domain;
• Knowledge on Engineering, and system and networking administration certifications will be of added advantage,
• Must have five (5) years of practical experience within a renowned structure;
• Must have management skills, an array of analytical and technical skills, as well as Knowledge on all aspects of computer security in many IT areas : dataset development, networking,  operating systems , IT security, security of applications;
• Have a good technical Knowledge and experience on various platform and technologies; Windows, Unix, Citrix, networking, application concepts , databases, networking, concepts, long range networks, operation of computer systems, the Intranet/Internet connectivity, LAN/WAN, VPN, with a knowledge of fire walls, routers and flip flops ( especially Cisco programs)
• Must have a mastery of DBMS MySQL and SQL Server and PHP development language , C/C ++
• Must have a mastery of ToIP and SIP auto-switch systems;
• Have a good technical knowledge and experience in gateway access and authorization control in production applications;
• Have a good technical knowledge and experience in the field of business continuity planning;
• Have a strong and structured analytical, and problem solving skills;
• Ability to work quickly and under pressure in order to meet deadlines;
• Must be fluent in either English or French, and have a good mastery of the other languages.
• Familiarity with social marketing or NGOs is a plus.

• Ability to demonstrate skills in managing human relations, communication, and the development of individuals;
• Have analytical and strategic thinking abilities, as well as result-oriented management skills;
• Have a structured mind and good skills in oral and written communication;
• Be able to work under pressure and carry out self-assessments.
