POSITION: LECTURER IN SHIPPING & LOGISTICS (MARITIME STUDIES)

POSITION TYPE: PART-TIME, TEACHING ACADEMIC STAFF

DEPARTMENT: INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMMES

JOB SUMMARY:

• The primary responsibility in this position is providing teaching and assessment in Shipping and Logistics (maritime) subjects.
• The lecturer shall also be required to set exams and correct scripts.
• Shall provide mentoring support to students
• Liaising with administrative staff
• Prepare lectures in soft copy

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

The ideal candidate is required to have a Masters degree in related field

Punctuality is essential, excellent communication skills, inter-personal skills

Past teaching experience is a plus but not a pre-requisite
