JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

CATHOLIC RELIEF SERVICES(CRS) is recruiting a Health Program Manager, for a primary health care assistance program for urban refugees in Yaoundé and Douala. The health program manager will be based in Yaoundé.

Primary responsibilities:

• Program management: plan and coordinate implementation of all program activities and adapt strategies as needed.
• Administrative and financial management: manage program budgets, approve all program expenditures, and ensure timely and accurate payment of service providers, report financial activities to donor.
• Monitoring and evaluation: monitor all program activities and ensure that strategic objective, result and outputs are accomplished, supervise HIS Officer.
• Partnerships and collaboration: maintain contact with donor, including timely and accurate reporting, coordinate with peer partners, manage partnership with health care providers, and seek other sources of support for the program.

Qualification and skills:

• A Masters in Public Health Administration or related fields is required
• Minimum 3 years experiences in project management.
• Some medical training and knowledge preferred.
• Experience working with public health facilities and knowledge of the Cameroon’s  Health system a plus.
• Proven ability to conceive and manage systems and procedures.
• Good interpersonal skills and cultural sensibility to effectively work with diverse colleagues and partners.
• Excellent English and French oral and written communication skills required.
