VACANCY FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT STAFF AND CIVIL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

The Programme for the Sustainable Management of Natural Resources - South West Region(PSMNR-SWR), co-financed by the Federal Republic of Germany, has vacancies for the following 3 positions in Takamanda National Park service:

(1) Qualified Community Development Technician(CDT)

Task: 

Under the Chief of the Co-management Unit and the CDO of Takamanda National Park execute the following tasks.

• Supervision and monitoring of village development measures in collaboration with the park, villages and service providers
• Assist the park in other collaborative park management activities

Profile:

• Be an agricultural technician of Cameroonian residence
• Have a long term pratical experience(minimum 5 years) in agricultural extension in rural communities, in working with rural communities in agricultural projects, in participatory approaches and capacity building of rural communities

The duty station for all positions is Kajifu(Akwaya Sub division)

Employment shall start on 1st of October 2015. Selected candidates will perform full time until June 2017.
