The economic growth in and around Suelco ltd.’s proposed concession in the last several years has resulted to increased need for the installation of safe, efficient and sustainable electricity supply to energize the growth potentials in areas of agriculture, small and medium size industries, social services, health services, education, etc. Suelco Ltd is positioned to capitalize on the growing need of business and services in the Sub-divisions of Nguti, Konye, Upper-Banyang and Eyumojock hereafter referred to, as concession, to turn the population’s despiracy and dreams of having electricity, into a thing of the past.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
“LEH MBIE OFF GRID HYDRO POWER PROJECT” is an overarching project that underpins the strategy to tap the hydroelectric power potential of the Mbie fall, in Ntale, Nguti Sub-division, Kupe Muanenguba division in the South West Region of Cameroon.
The project comprises the construction of an impounding hydro power station at the Mbie Fall, to generate 20Megawatts of hydroelectric energy, to power and boost/enhance the growth potentials of the Sub-divisions of Nguti, Konye, Upper-Banyang and part of Eyumojock Sub-division. The total project cost is estimated at Twenty seven million (27,000,000) US Dollars.
Its complete implementation, from construction of power station, installation of transmission system and distribution to end users will span Twenty four (24) months as from February 2016.

SUELCO LTD CURRENTLY RECRUITS FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS TO WORK IN THE COMPANY’S HEAD OFFICE IN LIMBE
THEY WILL CORDINATE ACTIVITIES GEARED TOWARDS THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE LEH MBIEH HYDRO POWER PROJECT.
Administrative Secretary
Reports To: Head of Administration and Human Resources
Direct Reports: Number of direct reports will be based on departmental needs.
Duration: Permanent role, commences September 2015 for a probationary period of three months
Category: Grade 3 step 1 of our salary scale
Purpose of the Job: To provide high level administrative support to the Management team to ensure the provision of a variety of complex secretarial/clerical and administrative duties requiring comprehensive knowledge of the organization’s program. The employee will be expected to exercise considerable tact, discretion and judgment.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
1. Management of Information
1.1 Prepares, collates and summarizes reports and presentations for use by management
1.2 Compose, proof reads and edits letters, memo’s and charts/graphs in reports before publications
1.3 Ensure an efficient filing system both electronic and physical, with easy to use reference is in place
2. Administrative Logistics
2.1 Ensure an efficient mail distribution system is put in place
2.2 Maintain an optimum level of inventories and office supplies
2.3 Ensure all travel bookings for management are timely and cost effective
3. Clerical Roles
3.1 Manage all management documentation while ensuring that management gets the needed support in photocopying, faxing, binding, trimming etc.
3.2 Answers telephone, take messages and answer inquiry within the assigned scope of responsibility
4. Organizing Management Agenda
4.1 Schedules appointments, maintains management’s calendar
4.2 Schedule meetings and reserve room for meetings
4.3 Prepares materials for workshops, conferences, meetings,
4.4 Maintains attendance reports, leave records, trip records and logs
5. Preparation and Management of Budget
5.1 Assist with the preparation, calculation and execution of the budget
5.2 Prepares and expedites purchase orders and direct payments, etc.
5.3 Manage petty cash
5.4 Maintains files of financial records
