Job Advert: Marketing Associate

Cameroon Oncology Center is recruiting a young and dynamic marketing Associate for her state of the art oncology center located in Bekoko-Douala. This person would become a key member of the administrative/management staff when the center goes operational in March 2016.

Cameroon Oncology Center would be leading center for the screening, diagnosis and treatment of cancer in Central and West Africa. It has been authorized by the Ministries of Public Health, Planning, Economy and Regional Development. It would be the leading institution in Cameroon and the Central Africa sub region for advanced medical imaging (CT, MRI, mammography, ultrasonography, etc), advanced clinical laboratory testing, urgent care, pharmaceutical services. It would be equipped with advanced telemedicine software and hardware that would enable accredited medical staff around the world to provide care remotely to patients based at the center.

Main Responsibilities of the Marketing Associate:

1. Develop a strategic marketing campaign in association with the founder and other staff.
2. Develop and implement a marketing campaign to corporate entities including insurance companies, multinational corporations, etc
3. Develop and implement a marketing campaign to tribal groups, professional societies, expatriates, churches and the Cameroonian diaspora community.
4. Develop and maintain a website presence for the oncology center
5. Prepare and make presentations on behalf of the Cameroon Oncology Center to interested parties in and out of Cameroon.
6. Market Cameroon Oncology Center clinical services to the public using print media, tv, radio, etc

Background: BA/MA in Marketing & Sales, Mass Communication, Political Science or Nursing. This dynamic individual must possess excellent computer, interpersonal and customer service skills. Proven track record of strong written, verbal, and presentational skills and above all, this individual must be perfectly bilingual (French and English)

Start date: December 2015 or January, 2016

Salary: Base salary plus performance related pay.
