The Government of the Republic of Cameroon has received financing from the African Development Fund to cover the cost for the Support Project for Rural Infrastructure and Participatory Development - GRASSFIELD PHASE II and intends to use part of these funds to ensure payment of a contract for services of an Administrative and Finance Officer based in WIDIKUM.

The services envisaged within this contract constitute among others: 

  • Participation in the eleboration of the Budget of the Project Coordination Unit and the Branch Offices as well as the follow-up of budgetary execution;
  • The putting in place of the management and accounting documents and tools;
  • The supervision of all administrative tasks linked to financial and accounting management of the Project;
  • The establishement of treasury provisions;
  • The collection and registration of accounting operations;
  • The verification and centralization of justifications of funds destined for the functionning of Project Head Office and the Branch Offices; 
  • All other tasks within the domain of financial management assigned by hierarchy(Project Coordinator)

The Project Coordinator, hereinafter called "Project Implementation Unit"(PIU), invite interested candidates to present their candidatures in view to provide the above-mentionned services.

Interested candidates who must have at least a senior Diploma(A-Levels +5) in Accounting, Finance, Management, Administration and Finance or any related field with at least Five years working experienc ein top management position in similar structures or an Audit Firm. Each candidates should provide information on their capacity and experience showing their legibility to provide the required servies(letter of motivation adressed to the Project Coordinator, detailed curriculum vitae duly signed, certified copies of certificates and work attestations and a certificate of non-conviction not more than 3 months old).

The eligibility criteria, the constitution of a shortlist and the selection procedure shall be in conformity with prevailing "Rules and Procedures for the use of Consultants" of the African Development Bank Group, may 2008 edition, revised in July 2002, which is available on the website address: http://www.afdb.org. The Coordination is not obliged to retain in the shortlist any interest manifested by a candidate. Only Candidates retained for interview shall be contacted; female candidates are encouraged to apply.
