JOB ADVERT: Regional Sales Manager Yaoundé (Cameroon)

YooMee, Cameroon’s leading broadband wireless operator, is looking for an experienced Sales Manager for a position as Regional Sales Manager in Yaounde. The candidate will be reporting to the sales and marketing Director.

Main tasks

• Effectively lead & manage the Yaoundé B2C team
• Ensure regional coordinators and employees are meeting performance metrics and manage entire sales B2C team to meet overall performance goals
• Manage the assigned geographic area to maximize B2C sales, increase profits and meet revenue objectives
• Develop the direct and indirect channels
• Analyse region B2C sales trends and implement action plans with specific deadlines to ensure positive results
• Interface with corporate office including operations, sales and finance team on a regional projects and practices.
• Create & develop team reports and monthly reporting recaps and provide feedback on field observations
• Ensure all area coordinators are trained and accountable for specified sales and training processes, field management expectations, product knowledge and internal procedures
• Work with the distribution partners on opportunities within the region
• Ensure all shops and POS consistently represent YooMee standard and brand
• Model effective coaching behaviours at all times, resulting in high performing regional  B2C employees
• Set clear expectations for all field positions within the region.

Experience and education

• University degree in Management, Sales, Marketing, Finance or any other relevant fields
• Minimum 5 years experience in Sales, Marketing or Senior Management in consumer goods and retail industry in Cameroon or neighboring countries
• Minimum 5 years management experience with personnel responsibilities
• Job experience in telecom, mobile operator or ISP will be an additional benefit
• Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
• Place of employment will be Yaounde.
