Plan Cameroon is looking for suitable candidates for one year renewable contract to fulfill the following positions;

Title: Grant Accountant

Duty Station: Yaoundé

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:

Under the authority of the Grant Support Manager, the Grant Accountant will among many other tasks:

• Provide support for overall management and monitoring of Grant budget spending and follow up individual Grant issues and updates in systems;
• Reallocation of Grant budget by Program Unit;
• Prepare Grant related financial reports and track grants expenditure regularly and issues/problem; identified are reported to Management appropriately and one on a timely manner;
• Management Grant information systems.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• University degree in Accounting or equivalent,
• At least 3 ( three) years’ experience in a similar position or an equivalent accounting role,
• Knowledge of local finance system,
• Good experience and knowledge of accounting and grant funds management regulations and procedures;

SKILLS & BEHAVIORS:

• Good team player ( ability to work in a team)
• Proficient in Microsoft application especially spread sheets (e.g. Excel)
• Good communication skills both oral and writing 
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines
• Soft-starter and innovative
• Good English and French is an asset
