Vista Language Center is a reputed Linguistic Center situated in Douala and it is in need of an Administrative Assistant who can do the following:

  • Receiving and selecting calls and letters; 
  • Creating, updating, archiving files;
  • Keeping pace with the agendas and anticipating booking needs and the implementation of necessary actions;
  • Organising meetings and events internally or externally;
  • Providing reliable and regular information to officials  and collaborators;
  • Ensuring the confidentiality of information;
  • Analysing the results and proposing possible improvements.
  • Prospects candidates for training and performs other services
  • Collecting and compiling information from services;
  • Controlling the consistency of the information provided;
  • Ensuring the dissemination of reports, minutes and records etc;
  • Participating in the monitoring of actions.
  • Monitoring the proper implementation of procedures and their updating;
  • Ensuring the quality management of visitors and calls on the standard;
  • Alerting and contributing to the service improvements.
  • Identifying or controlling the identification of training needs;
  • Participating in the development of training initiatives and monitoring their effectiveness;
  • Animating and controlling the effectiveness of the communication both upward and downward in order to adhere to the company strategy, projects and unity.
  • Organising and planning work;
  • Finding, proposing and organising the implementation of work methods and effective tools;
  • Disseminating information expected on time.
  • Any other Ad hoc duties that are felt reasonable by the line manager to fulfil the Job Description

Skills required:

  • Excellent presentation ability to manage priorities,
  • Well organized,
  • Team work
  • Ability to work independently, with discretion and in total confidentiality.
  • A mastery of computer-based tool is very important,
  • Must be flexible and responsive to client needs.

Profile:

  • At least an HND in secretariat;
  • At least 2 years of working experience on a similar position
  • Must be bilingual (English and French) and a third language will be an added asset.
  • A driving license will be an added advantage
