Seven Advanced Academy, a digital training center founded by top engineers from the Silicon Valley, is looking for a passionate and talented Android Technical Expert & Instructor. You should have a no-fail attitude and be prepared to work with other instructors to do whatever it takes to provide the appropriate instruction, leadership, and mentorship to ensure student success. 

Responsibilities

• Skill up students who have no previous background in programming with a variety of educational attainment to no degree at all, and transform them into Android app developers employable at the best tech companies
• Work alongside The Director to refine Android development curricula to match the needs of students from a wide-range of educational and socio-economic backgrounds
• Deliver lessons and workshops, optimize and be flexible to change the course to suit the needs of the students and new technologies at any time 
• Prepare and deliver course materials and learning assessments, assign grades and evaluate student achievement of specific learning outcomes 
• Assist Seven Advanced Academy to recruit and select the highest potential students for admission into the Android App Development program
• Act as a technical mentor guiding students on a technical journey of discovery, diligently respond to students questions and learning needs in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s of science in Computer Science or License in Génie de développement des applications mobiles or related discipline or equivalent experience in Java and Android App development
• Experience in engineering, releasing and supporting Android applications with a strong knowledge of Java and Android SDK. Proficiency in use of git and Github
• Passion for teaching and mentorship with a dynamic and creative approach, compassionate and able to work with a broad range of students
• Experience designing curriculum and measuring student performance including the ability to convey conceptual and complex ideas and information
• Strong communication, presentation and organizational skills, entrepreneurial mindset and an ability to excel in a startup environment, working under tight deadlines
• Must be on top of mobile trends, love explaining architecture Must be eager to shape the skills, minds, and trajectories of the newest generation of Android developers in Cameroon
