EGPAF works in partnership with the Ministry of Health NACC and the Regional and District Health Teams to support HIV Prevention, Care and Treatment and health systems strengthening services. EGPAF is mainly funded by PEPFAR through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
Purpose of the Job
The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation is seeking to recruit 12 Monitoring & Evaluation Officer to be based in the Centre region and Littoral region respectively. The Monitoring & Evaluation Officer will a five-person team to ensure the successful monitoring and evaluation of facility health services in specific clusters in the CTR and LTR regions.
Job Summary
The Monitoring & Evaluation Officer will work with the MOH teams at the district level, DELTA project data teams and other EGPAF program staff in strengthening facility health information management system. This will be done by improving facility accurate reporting rates and creating demand for data use.
Working in a defined cluster area, the M&E Officer will work with health facilities, their catchment and data clerks to complete data collection, analyze data, and use it for program improvement. The officer will also help plan and implement capacity strengthening approaches at the local level, including trainings and mentorship models to strengthen M&E for health services
