JOB ADVERT: Marketing and Relationship officer
Context:
A young and fasting growing company is seeking to recruit an experienced and highly bilingual (English and French) Marketing and Relationship officer. The position will be based in Yaounde, and the incumbent will deliver services while working with other regional agencies of the company.
Roles:
- Take responsibility for co-developing and implementing the marketing, communication and corporate relationship strategy of the company with the aim of branding the products, services and image of the company in other to build the trust and confidence of stakeholders for competitive edge in the industry.
- Develop and/or upgrade and implement the sales and marketing strategy of the company and ensure the effective implementation upon approval
- Contribute to business development, liasing with different company branches/agencies to identify sales/marketing needs and preparing response plans, marketing campaigns, etc. and coordinating these.
- Manage and maintain client relationships while improving the client base
- Integrating the marketing strategies of the company within the digital sphere, preparing and driving online marketing.
- Perform other duties as required by the hierarchy
Requirements
Competences:
- Good knowledge of hard and soft modern techniques of publicity and advertising
- Strong commercial acumen
- Project management skills
- Ready to learn and integrate in company culture
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Good people skills, Relationship building and management
- Good at negotiations and possessing strong abilities in the areas of leadership, communication, persuasion, motivation etc.
- Good knowledge in presentation and reporting
- Good knowledge in events planning and management
Required skills:
- Internet and tech-social media savvy (website animation, online marketing, e-commerce
- Mastery of computer especially PowerPoint, Photoshop, Publisher, Illustrator and Excel
- Graphic design and photography (video editing will be a plus)
- Perfectly bilingual (English & French)
Academic requirements:
- At least Bachelors degree in a relevant field with 4 years’ experience in similar role or Masters degree in a relevant filed with 2 years’ experience in similar role.
