The EJF's Project Phase II(Appui à l'Education des Jeunes Filles dans l'arrondissement de Yaoundé II) is the logical continuation of Phase I, that has been proposed to move to a larger scale through the Briqueterie and around the district of Yaoundé II. It is a joint paternship between AFHADEV and Plan Cameroon to contribute to improving the access and quality of primary education for children in Cameroon.

Within this framework we are looking for potential Cameroonian candidates for a one year duration renewable contract to fulfill the positions below.

Title: One(01) Monitoring & Evaluation Assistant for "Education de la Jeune Fille Project"

Duty Station: Yaoundé(Biteng Program Unit)

Purpose of the Role: Ensure the implementation and achievement of expected project in accordance with the monitoring and evaluation framework of the project.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Under the authority of the Project Coordinator, the Program Unit Monitoring & Evaluation Assistant will among other tasks perform the following:

• Contribute to thhe design and implementation of a system for monitoring and evaluation of the project in collaboration with the project coordinator, the Head of Monitoring and Evaluation of Plan Cameroon and the Program Unit Manager;
• Update performance and impact indicators of the project based on the results of the baseline analysis and monitoring and evaluation plan for the projects; and develop tools with the capacity to inform these indicators;
• Collect and centralize information relating to the implementation of project activities;
• Facilitate the preparation of project's the work plan quarterly, biannually and yearly in accordance with the procedures;
• Develop a monthly record of impact and performance indicators for each project area;
• reinforce tools usage for monitoring and evaluation by the partners;
• Assist the Project Coordinator for the production of semi-technical report and contribute to the preparation of the monthly report of the project;
• Facilitate funding, lessons learned, significant changes and the sharing of experiences between the parties involved in the project;
• Ensure that project indicators are met and allow decisions on the progress and development of the project;
• Contribute to the updating of indicators and impacts from any difficulties encountered in the field;

Qualification and Experience

• Degree in social sciences, project management or development;
• Have at least 03 years of continuous experience in the management and/or monitoring and evaluation of community projects.
