Here at TN Events & Entertainment, we are a leading fast growing Events Planning, Branding, Marketing & Communication agency located in the Economic Capital City of Douala. We are hiring an experienced Business Development & Communications Manager to help us keep growing

Key Responsibilities

  • As a Business Development & Communications Manager you will work to propel our brand image through consistent messaging and strategy to help us keep growing
  • You will generate proposals, negotiate contract terms and conditions and communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Develop and implement sales strategies, marketing and communications campaigns and monitor their success
  • Define key performance indicators for each communications channel which will indicate a campaign’s level of success
  • Determine strategic communications campaigns that will help further agency’s goals
  • Oversee the creation of sales, marketing and communications collateral to ensure that it is consistent with the agency’s brand, including white papers, website copy, and more
  • Represent the organisation at events and press conferences
  • Reach out to influencers, media and beyond in order to arrange story placement on a national level

Qualifications

  • 3+ years prior experience working in a Business Development, Sales, Marketing or communications role and preferably in an Event Planning, Branding or Communication agency
  • Proven success designing and executing Business Development, Marketing and Communications strategies and campaigns
  • Up to date on Branding, Events Management, Marketing and Communications trends and able to stay ahead of the curve
  • Must be able to think analytically and strategically
  • Great multitasker and capable of simultaneously managing multiple projects with different deadlines
  • Superior written and verbal communications and negotiation skills
  • To succeed in this role, professional proficiency in Both French & English Language is a must.
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • This role will require extensive incountry travelling, the right candidate is required have a valid driving licence

The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or Communications, however this requirement may be overlooked if a candidate has extensive experience in their field.
