EMIA Entrance Launched

The Minister Delegate at the Presidency in Charge of defense Announces:

Young Cameroonians of both sexes interested in taking up a career in the defense Forces are hereby informed that a competitive examination for the entrance into Combined Military Academy(EMIA) of Yaoundé shall take place on 14 and 15 February 2015 in Yaounde, as follows:

Courses and conditions are as follow:

COURSES "B1"

(Recruitment of Iner-Army soldiers holding the GCE A/L)

Number needed: 20

Conditions

• Be of Cameroonian nationality;
• Be of maximum age of 30 years on 31/12/2014(be born after December 30 1984);
• Have a professional experience of the least five(05) years;
• Be in good health;
• Be holder of GCE A/L with three(03) papers excluding religious knowledge or an equivalent.

Composition of application files

• A handwritten application bearing a 1.000 Francs CFA fiscal stamp, signed by candidate and addressed to the Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of defense;
• A cardboard folder;
• A certified true copy of birth certificate not more than three(03) months old;
• A certified true copy of GCE A/L with three(03) papers excluding religious knowledge or an equivalent;
• An attestation of presentation of original certificate;
• A reduced file;
• An A4 size envelope stamped with 500 francs bearing the following information: names, rank, matricule, date and place of birth, region of origin, departement of origin, diploma, training language, series, place of posting and complete address;
• A receipt showing payment of CFA 20.000 francs at the Departement of Human Resources in the Ministery of Defense.
