Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations of our Export Parts Store. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of financial principles, and the ability to implement effective financial strategies. The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing budgets, financial reporting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts in alignment with business objectives. Analyze financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide strategic recommendations to management.

2. Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and variance analysis. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory standards.

3. Budget Management: Manage the budgeting process, monitor expenses, and track financial performance against budgetary targets. Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.

4. Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial risks. Develop strategies to optimize cash flow and ensure adequate funding for operational needs.

5. Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Conduct regular audits to assess financial processes and identify areas for improvement.

6. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements. Coordinate with external tax advisors to optimize tax strategies and minimize liabilities.

7. Financial Strategy: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that support business growth and expansion. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis and market trends.

8. Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement. Develop and mentor staff to enhance their skills and capabilities.

9. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial results, forecasts, and recommendations to key stakeholders, including executive management, board of directors, and external partners. Present financial information in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Proven 5 years experience as a Financial Controller or similar role, preferably in the export parts industry.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; experience with SAP or Oracle is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Strategic thinker with a focus on driving results and achieving organizational goals.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
