JOB ADVERT AT THE GLOBAL HEALTH SYSTEMS SOLUTIONS(GHSS)

GHSS is a non-governmental and non-profit making organization dedicated to seeking innovative solutions to strengthen health systems in developing countries for effective service delivery ans surveillance of infectious, non-infectious, and neglected tropical diseases. We focus in three key areas: improve laboratory systems and services critical for disease management, surveillance, and prevention; enhance field surveillance and epidemiological training for relevant animal and human-health to mitigate threats posed by diseases; and improve service delivery at all health levels.

Purpose: We are currently seeking an outstanding individual for the following positions

Director of Administration and Finance

The successful candidate will demonstrate

• Extensive experience in maintaining day to day financial, accounting, administrative issues
• A history of handling personnel services in order to meet legal and policy requirements of an organization
• Excellent understanding of organizational operations
• Significant experience in coordination, managing people to achieve maximum outcomes
• Continuous success in working with national and or international partners
• A track record of delivery results in fast-paced, complex, and competitive environment.
• Ability to work independently, think strategically, and translate strategies into delivery plans with particular emphasis on attention to details
• Impeccable integrity and a high level of tact and discretion

Qualification

The candidate should have a MBA or ACCA and any equivalent certifiate with at least 4 years' experience in managing personnel and finances. Bilingual aptitude(English and French) will be an added advantage.
