GMG Global Ltd (GMG) is a Singapore stock exchange listed rubber producer with integrated capabilities extending from planning, cultivating, tapping and processing, to the marketing and exporting of natural rubber.

Through its various subsidiaries and associates, the Group currently manages many rubber plantations and processing plants across Africa and Asia.

Due to expansion of its plantation activities, GMG international S.A hiring the following positions:

Manager/Senior Manager, Regional EHS

Job summary:

Plans, directs, and implements group’s safety programs to ensure safe, healthy, and accident –free work environment. Administers and implement QSHE Systems in compliance with GMG HQ local regulations and international quality standards.

Work closely with regional management representatives for ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 management systems audits and implementations.

Main requirements:

• Degree / Master Degree or equivalent agricultural, science, chemistry, environment management / technology, occupational safety/ health or environment health
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in agricultural sector preferably in rubber processing and plantation management.
• Regional work experience within central and western Africa is must for this position.
• Possess high level of personal drive, initiatives, positive attitude and integrity, strong analytical, leadership and interpersonal skills
• Fluent English language is compulsory; candidates with good Chinese language will be given preference for this role
• Regular travelling within Africa region will be expected of this role
