WARTSILA CENTRAL AFRICA IS LOOKING FOR A REGIONAL FINANCE AND BUSINESS CONTROLLER
You'll be reporting to the Area Business Controller Western and Central African countries.
Your main responsibilities include
- Lead, manage and develop finance and control function and team in Central Africa
- Implementation of company global initiatives, processes and tools within own responsibility area
- Maintaining an effective internal control system in the relevant companies
- The timeliness of reporting
- Close co-operation with management and other parties in issues related to planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, risk management and legal structures in the region
- Establishment, development, supervision and integration of the finance and administrative functions, and matters in all needed and existing legal and business entities
- Support operation in area with a secured tax, legal and financial environment
- Follow-up and compliance with applicable internal and external regulations and policies
- All related matters and disciplined associated to the above mention categories.
To succeed in this position you will need to have/to be
- financial knowledge, negotiation, presentation, reporting and analysing skills
- IFRS, internal control, auditing and business understanding
- Strategic planning and target settings, problem solving and decision making
- Previous experience in auditing are highly suitable(External or internal)
- Proven knowledge in consolidation, reporting, cost follow-up, costs accounting and budgeting
- Ability to cooperate and be flexible
- High sense of ethics and fairness;
- Free from any conflict of interests and comply to Wärtilä code of conduct.
The essential requirement for the job is Master's Degree, in Accountant or equivalent with 3 to 5 years experience in similar position.
