JOB DESCRIPTION :

Assessment and follow-up of parturient in labor, Evaluation and follow-up of childbirth, follow-up of parturient and newborns post-operatively, follow-up of curarized parturient, Post-natal consultation, management of obstetric emergencies, Education.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be available and courteous to patients;
• Participate in the reception of patients and their families;
• Collection of important information for the better management of patients;
• Provide useful information to clients and those around them;
• Know how to fill in, read and interpret a partogram;
• Be able to do obstetric assessment of a woman on entry and in labor;
• Perform deliveries using the partogram;
• Monitor the progress of labor using the partograph;
• Monitoring of the parturient postpartum;
• Post-operative monitoring of Caesarized women;
• Recognize unsafe pregnancies / deliveries and seek help;
• Know how to assess an emergency and act by seeking help from the gynecologist;
• Greet the newborn and provide first aid;
• Be able to carry out neonatal resuscitation in the event of distress;
• Provide advice on breastfeeding, baby hygiene and contraception;
• Post-natal consultation
• Inform the patient and / or his entourage about the procedure for labor, delivery and potential emergency and risk situations;

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Diploma (or Certificate) of nurse midwife;
• Have at least 1 year of (active) experience in the field;
• Sense of observation, sense of organization, teamwork;
• Being able to keep “cool” in the face of pressure and distress situations;
• Listening to your patients and knowing how to reassure;
• Have a good capacity for concentration and good physical resistance

TYPE OF CONTRACT :

• Fixed-term contract (CDD)
• Two months trial, with evaluation of the trial period;
• Possibility of renewal of the trial period;
• Negotiable salary proposals;
