JOB VACANCY: Senior Laboratory Technician

Weatherford Services & Rentals Ltd, a leading service provider in the Oil & Gas Industry, requires the services of the a Senior Laboratory Technician, based in Douala

Key Responsibilites

• Interpretation of engineer test plans
• Set up test specimens on test rigs to validate testing
• Monitor test processes
• Apply instrumentation, computerized control systems and data logging equipment
• Reporting test data

Key requirements

• A tertiary qualification in Engineering or related field
• A minimum of 8 years' experience in the oil service industry
• Work effectively within a multidiscipline team environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Safery awareness

General key requirements for all positions:

• Fluent in English and proficient in French
• Computer proficient in Microsoft packages, Excel and Powerpoint

Additional competency would be advantageous: Relevant product line experience in the oil service industry
